Potato Salad Recipe
Hey guys, so I made potato salad recently and it tasted so buss down good, I realized it would be criminal for me to not share the recipe with you.
These are the ingredients I used but feel free to add whatever you feel yo yours:
-potatoes (obviously)
-grilled chicken
-tomatoes
-green pepper
-mayonnaise
-barbecue sauce
Other alternatives I usually add that hit include:
-pickles
-cucumber
-bacon
-ham
-any other variation of meat other than chicken
It’s up to you to put in whatever you want tbh and just have fun with it.
1.I first peeled and cut the potatoes into cubes then proceeded to boil them. I did this til they were cooked but still kinda firm. It’s important they’re not too soft because then they will get crushed when being mixed in the salad and become practically mashed potatoes but also make sure they aren’t too firm cause then they’re practically just raw and that won’t be appealing to bite into for anyone.
2.While the potatoes are boiling, I begun to cut up the tomato and green pepper into bite size pieces. After washing them, of course. I cut them up cause they look prettier and mix in really well when small and then I set then aside for later.
3.The chicken I use was already grilled and leftover so this wasn’t stress for me cause I didn’t have to cook any. I cut it up as well and set it aside.
4.By the time I finished prepping the stuff to go into the potato salad, the potatoes were done and ready to be used so I strained them and put them in a big bowl ready for mixing.
5.With the potatoes in the bowl, I put the tomatoes and peppers in then added the chicken on top. I seasoned to my heart’s desire and hadn’t mixed it all in yet.
6.I proceeded to drizzle some barbecue sauce on top of it all and added a giant blob of mayonnaise then gave it a good mix. I mixed with everything inside me so all the flavours spread evenly and blend well and I’ll proudly say I accomplished that mission.
7.After mixing thoroughly, I covered it with cling wrap and left it in the fridge to chill cause it tastes best cold and warm mayonnaise just isn’t right in my opinion.

As soon as it was cold and ready to eat, best believe I tore that up. I hope you enjoyed this recipe and I’ll post more to come.
With love, Solannah🫶🏽
