The Deck Restaurant Review

I recently went to The Deck for a cute little dinner with my best friend and lemme tell you this, all of you reading this need to go there right nowww.

I’ll get to the food in a few but rn lemme tell you about the actual place itself. It’s at Lewanika Mall in Lusaka right and the view is so beautiful.

I went there thinking it’s just a cute little restaurant and tell me why there’s an insanely gorgeous football pitch right outside and the restaurant has games constantly on.

Like how beautiful is that. The waiter was sweet enough to let me go out and stare at it even though I wasn’t allowed on the actual field itself, just the stands.

And in all honesty, he did well not allowing us there cause we would have played for hours and not left.

Okay now onto the actual food itself.

We ordered from the menu ofc but what I liked about it is how thick and authentic the leather was.

There is a really wide range of food to choose from so that was a huge plus and the price range is affordable.

I got the steak with chips while bestie got the pork ribs.

Both of our food tasted sooo good it was magical. The flavours are amazing, lemme start there and I love how when I said I wanted my steak well done, it’s wasn’t burnt or extremely hard or anything, but properly well done. The chefs really know their stuff so I’ll compliment them on that. The sauce they used as well on the side was to die for and look at the cute little X’s on both the plates, like whose idea was that? Love it.

I also appreciated that they brought tiny bowls of water to wash our hands even though there was cutlery cause the food was messy.

The portion sizes are very generous so we carried the rest home and got chicken wings to go cause we just had to taste more of their food.

Definitely a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back whenever I can to see what I can try next.
