Watch Me Body Chicken Curry and Chapati
So I woke up feeling like making something heavy today and decided to make some curry and eat it with already bought chapati cause even though I know how to make chapati, I do not have the time to be doing all that lol.
Here’s the set up for the ingredients

I used:
-chicken breasts
-carrots
-green beans
-green pepper
-flour
-turmeric
-potatoes
-butter
-chapati
The first thing I did was cut up the vegetables after washing them so they can be all ready to go into the stew

I put them to a boil. I put the carrots and green beans in their own pot and the potatoes separately cause they take longer to cook and let them do their thing while I readied my chicken

I cut up 2 and a half chicken breasts into cubes to use for the curry

I made them this size cause they’re easier to scoop up with the chapati when cooked cause the pieces aren’t as big

Now even though I’m making it curry like with the tumeric and all, I still like to season the chicken with other spices and use marinade so it hits extra hard

I put 2 tablespoons of butter in my pan to melt and mixed in about half a tablespoon of tumeric for it to cook a bit before I could add the chicken pieces. This is cause I’m genuinely terrified of food poisoning and I’m not even sure if you can get that from raw tumeric but better safe than sorry

I put the chicken in the pan with the butter and mixed it around so it could cook evenly and look at this

See how evenly the curry fried on the chicken
By this time the vegetables were done so I collected them and put them aside

I then mixed the remaining potato water with flour and added a lot more water to thicken the curry and make it more gravy like

I practically drowned the chicken in it and left it to simmer and thicken
As soon as it was a consistency I liked, I added the vegetables to it and gave it a good mix

At this point, it was ready for serving and could be eaten so I proceeded to do just that

I was pretty proud of myself and I can say I did a good job with this one.
I’ll see you in the next post, Solannah🫶🏽
